Tumb-BLAH

I'm a 28 year old freelancing artist that focuses mainly on cute character designs and other graphic arts. When I'm not drawing, listening to music, or rolling on the floor, I'm sleeping. God, I love sleep.

Anonymous asked: I think of you as a friendly person with amazing talent. You don't just say fans are fans and leave it, you make friends with them, and then later on families and groups of people that are just nice to be around. We only have one life, so make it enjoyable and live it to the fullest!

This note has been in my ask box forever. I wish I knew who send it, because they deserve a great big hug and cookie.

Thank you Anon! <3

Charles Ramsey, the guy who saved the three kidnapped women, is giving up over $25,000 in reward money and giving it to the victims. Today’s lesson: Be more like this guy. Remind yourself that you’re not the center of the universe. If everyone just put themselves in other people’s shoes instead of only looking out for himself, then perhaps we’d all stop treating each other like crap. Even if you’re selfish, there’s a reason not to be. Treat others poorly, and they in turn will treat others poorly. This keeps being transferred like a disease until one day it comes back to you and someone treats you poorly. So helping others benefits you as well. The benefits are just not as immediate.

And that’s the most frustrating thing about depression. It isn’t always something you can fight back against with hope. It isn’t even something — it’s nothing. And you can’t combat nothing. You can’t fill it up. You can’t cover it. It’s just there, pulling the meaning out of everything. That being the case, all the hopeful, proactive solutions start to sound completely insane in contrast to the scope of the problem.

It would be like having a bunch of dead fish, but no one around you will acknowledge that the fish are dead. Instead, they offer to help you look for the fish or try to help you figure out why they disappeared.

You know when you read something that’s so accurate that you don’t know how to words?
Yeah.

How I feel almost every night. D:

Wow.

Yeah, this is so accurate, it hurts.

When people expect you to do things for them just because you’re the artist in the family.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Seriously, there were times I nearly lost it because my family will ask me to draw something for them, and then add something along the lines of, ‘Oh, it shouldn’t take you that long, right? You’re so good at what you do!’

Or even worst is if I try and explain why I can’t or don’t want to draw anything, they make me feel like shit for having an opinion.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my family, but…

UUUUGH

If you do not believe that this is one of the best self-discovery stories then you need to re-evaluate how you perceive things.

Yeeeees

This is one of the reasons I love this movie! It’s so underrated.
